Check official requirements

Photo and signature rules (file size, pixel dimensions, format, background, date on photo, etc.) are set by each organisation and can change. Always confirm the latest requirements in the official notification before uploading. Size examples on this site are for general guidance only.

Output quality

Compressing to very small sizes reduces image quality. Check the preview before downloading and make sure your photo is clear and meets the form's rules.
